The art of Thai boxing was made popular worldwide in recent years by the newspapers, TV, movies and competition.

Contrary to its name, it is not only a martial art from Thailand. Like most martial arts, it can trace its origin in China and in the course of time, with influence from other countries and adapted to the surrounding regions. With the introduction of Western Boxing, the techniques and some rules were adopted in the martial arts. The basis of the technique is simple -Use of the head, fists, elbow, knee, shin and foot. It is known as the King of Martial Arts because of its brutal effectiveness and impact as a striking art.
